Thanksgiving and Transformed Faith

As I reflect on Thanksgiving, I am reminded of my own shift to gratitude. I’ve learned that thankfulness is a choice—and, honestly, I haven’t always made it.

A song that re-centers me is “Counting My Blessings” by Seth Schlueter:

"One, two, three—
Up to infinity—
I’d run out of numbers
Before I could thank You for everything."

That lyric stays with me because my journey has been that gratitude isn’t just for the big moments—it’s more about the countless small ones that quietly shape me.

Some people reset through mountains or stars. I love those too—but my mind bends back to math. Its patterns keep revealing beauty, structure, and mystery.
That curiosity sparked "Transformed Faith", a creative four-part series where I “paint with math” to show how numbers deepen how I think and see. The vistas of math remind me how blessed I am to notice wonder—sometimes right in front of me, sometimes stretching toward infinity.
